Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are a Touch Point and Channels?

    Touch Point is defined as a point of contact with an Agent that uses a direct connection, API connection or SDK connection to an application. QuickBooks, NetSuite, CERM, Business Manager, Sage are partial examples of applications that can be touched by an Agent.

    Your website sends a customer contact form to SalesForce.
    Here the connection between your website and SalesForce would be called a channel.
    The contact stays in SalesForce and goes through the lead conversion process and now becomes a prospect.
    Once the status is set for the prospect in SalesForce, the details are transferred (Channel) to CERM as a prospect and is ready for a sales quote. (CERM is now a Touch Point, and this connection is handled by an Agent)

    The Agent monitors the prospect status in CERM until these changes to customer and then reports back to SalesForce the status change (Channel)

    In the above example we have 3 channels and 1 Touch Point (Agent)

  • Every business is different and since we only do custom connections there is no “one fits all solution”. There are many providers that offer these types of connections. When you contact us, we would like to schedule a free 30 min consultation, to get deep understanding of your requirements.
